Last night Barbara and I took Mc to see God Made You Special at one of the local churches. Mc loved it , of course! She danced and clapped and worried about Bob (he disappears during the show) with all the other kids.

It was fun to see her have such a good time!!! Afterwards we grabbed a late dinner at Chili's and headed home. It was a late night for her and I'm paying for it today... she's VERY grouchy. But is was worth it; Here are a few pics:

School Pictures

Mc is having her school pictures made today. We got her all dressed up and I could tell she felt special. It warms my heart when I see her feel good about herself. (Okay, I know what you are all thinking right now...I'm not saying that outside beauty is the only time she feels good about herself. I also see her feel good about herself when she identifies all her ABC's, or feeds Utah, etc etc.)

A Day at the Park

Today was just gorgeous and we had to get out in it! So we decided to head to the park and have a picnic with the Nichols. We had a blast at the park, and here are several of our pics!

Last night we had cupcakes, from our little place downtown, for Jac's birthday.

We had leftovers, so the Nichols came over to help us finish them off! Here are a few cute pics... how freakin' precious are they!??!?

What a Night!

Last night I had a little 30th Birthday Party for Jac at my house. Her big day is Thursday, so several of us girls got together for a wine tasting and dinner honoring her. It was really fun! Everyone brought a bottle and we all tasted all of them, voted and there was a prize at the end. afterward, we ate shrimp and grits, chatted and just had some girl time. I didn't get many pics, but here are a few...

After dinner, we were all sitting around and one of the girl's boyfriends shows up... full suit, a dozen roses... you get the picture! He comes in, drops down on one knee and proposes right there in front of all of us!!!! Can you believe that!?!? It was crazy.... super sweet though. What a gesture! She did say yes" and we're waiting to hear on the date!
