Better Late Than Never

Here are some pics from the snow we had a few weeks ago. I meant to post last week, but forgot and then ran across the pics today, so I'll just post a few of my faves:

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Don't get pinched!

Sadie Jane Turns One!

Yesterday we celebrated my nieces birthday! Her birthday was actually last weekend, but the party was postponed because my brother and sister in law and Sadie Jane all had the stomach flu... poor little thing... what a horrible way to spend your first birthday!

Anyway, it was at Daren's moms and she had gone all out! The garage was decorated for the little princess and there was great food and lots of gifts. Several of her cousins were there to play with and Mc had a big time. ( as you can see from the last picture, she wore herself out.) All in all I think everyone had a great time!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Smothers' Brothers Throw a Party!

Today we went to Murphy and Mann Smothers' first birthday party. It was quite the event!

Held at Richland Country Club, the Easter Bunny and his wife were there to meet all the kids. Mc was IN LOVE with them. I mean, the kid loved them! She stood in front of them and hopped (well her version of hopped, she's very white and has no ups.) She sat in his lap and kissed all over him. Finally, she wore a pair of bunny ears through the remainder of the party b/c she thought she looked like them.

The cake was the prettiest birthday cake I've ever seen and was accompanied by the cutest little cupcakes ever. (I wasn't even sure if the cupcakes were real!) There was also food, curly straws, and wine... wine, not to be used in conjunction with the curly straws :)

Anyway, it was a really a fun party and I think all the kids and parents had a great time!

What an Arm!

So, this morning Mc and I are eating breakfast. We're having pancakes. She eats two pancakes and asks for a piece of cheese. "Hmm, she's already had 2 pancakes" I think to myself. "But, she has been known to eat her weight in food, so she's probably still just hungry."

Uh, apparently she wasn't. She actually wanted to use the cheese for pitching practice. I'm sitting there, eating my pancakes, (you can see the distance from my seat to hers in the pic below), and WHAM! Half a slice of American hits the side of my glass. How the heck did she do that?!?!? Not only did she hit the glass from quite a distance, the glass was also to the side and BEHIND her. I swear she's the most coordinated child in the world!!!!

Wh, Wh, What?

Where the Heck has Reba Gone?!?!?

Congrats to the Brandts!

My friend Heather and her husband Bill welcomed their 2nd child this morning. They didn't find out what they were having, so Miss Elizabeth Blair was quite a surprise! (I think they plan to call her Lizzy.)

She came into the world at 1:24 this morning weighing 7lbs. 11oz.

Congrats on a happy healthy baby you guys!
